Any alignment need to be done after servicing the drive shaft?

had remove my drive shaft(driver side) for repair due to leakage of grease (found the gasket had a small tear).

 

do i need to do a wheel alignment; balance ??

 

pls help

Hi Jackfoo,

 

Alignment is needed. I think it is about $40. Great if you can tell me how much you pay for.

 

I changed 2 drive shafts and alignment absolutely needed. I realised that these are usually re-conditioned shafts with 6 months warranty. If getting it from agent could cost very much higher i.e below $1k.

 

Sign for bad shafts is when you do a full-lock there is rattling noise. So after your repair, do watch out for this. I have to replaced my drive shafts twice [FOC] before free from rattling noise. Great for the last 6 months.
