Super7 Turbocharged August 29, 2004 Share August 29, 2004 (edited) for a change, lots of actions: at the first few corners after the start... few cars bundled up and one caught fire!!! in the opening laps after 3 laps of yellow flag coz of the accidents abvoe, Montoya overtook MS... Alfonso spun out... then Coultard had a rear tyre 'pungjiak'... then one of the new racers refused to be intimated by Montoya... Montoya pushed Trulli off a corner while trying to overtake him... (Trulli went up in the air, the car, not the driver, landed on the track, and continued... chasing after Montoya..) Hitman Neutral Newbie August 29, 2004 Share August 29, 2004 The BEST GP in a long long time .... if every GP is like this , no one would be complaining. The problem is so obvious .... its the damn circuits. The new circuits are so boring and so impossible to overtake ... that when you put these GP cars back on these classic circuits like Spa and Imola .... it goes back to the good old days. Thats why I am going as to why F1 circuits are so so boring whilst the Moto GP circuits are the ones that create excitement. Moto GP gets the best of the overtaking classic circuits ?? Able to work on Colutard's car and within 1 minute get ready for Kimi's entry to th pits. What can I say...Kimi drove like Schumi this race... DOMINATION. His car setup was good but not that well balanced cause you see the occasional rear jinx-ing. Just hope next few races are as exciting as this. Spa is an amazing circuit, with the first sector all about straightline speed, and the second nothing but corners, not forgetting the up and down slopes; the cars really need to be set up well, and the drivers have to keep adapting to the changing conditions. So seeing how it's a drivers circuit, Kimi really aced Schumi this time, he was just amazing, toying with the pace during the Safety Car periods, and setting fastest laps right to the end. He was one hungry chap... like the commentators stated, it's hard to believe it's only his second Grand Prix win. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
