in theory I think all brake calipers with similar pots usually have roughly similar braking abilities.... but the brake pad is where there is a major difference lies.... in addition there is also the braking fluid itself and rotor design which I won't get into.... all I can say is that endless is the number 1 brake pad seller in japan overall.... it probably the main name in brake pads for GT and endurance seris.... most racing teams however use their own brake caliper though and not necessarily the endless calipers.... (eg: spoon S2000 uses spoon calipers with endless pads).... I am not sure if any racers use project

Reviews in Singapore's Mag. sucks. They are always kinda biase and never dd reveal their true opinions about the cars they tested. They are too afraid to offend their advertisers and agents which they borrowed the car from. For more truthful reviews, try offshore mags like top gear or Car mag from UK. They almost the same line of vehicles that are being marketed in Singapore. They do product reviews too, some other mags I know that does this is BMW mags and VW mags etc.

I too have no idea about Project u brakes. But I know Italian Tarox if good and used in most European Grand Prix/Rally vehicles.

I guess you must be using the Project Mu Type HC Taitan Kai pads. Great pads, cheap too, working temp from 0 to 800 deg, coefficient of friction above average. Great initial bite, moderate wear on stock rotors, but have to watch out for increased brake dust (those with white rims, my heart pains for ya [:p])

definitely better than EBC Greenstuff, damn pads will warp your stock rotors

currently using Endless CC-M (ceremic carbon-metallic), have to warm them up before they work nicely, wrecks havoc on stock rotors, makes me wish I'm using black rims.

after these pads, I wanna try Ferodo Racing DS2000, hopefully they have the same coefficient of friction as the Endless without the warming up

Neutral Newbie

HI there Jon

I thik the questions you asked will very much be negative. Cos ABS and EBD and CC are usually installed at manufacturer's point. Frankly, since you have got the Vit so far, I dun think you have got a chance to E-brake and travel at high speed over long distances? When the need arises, just put two feet out of the car when you wanna E brake and put a brick to your pedal when you wanna cruise. Cos letting Champion earn the money is definitely not worth it.

Regards

Lester

Neutral Newbie

those on endless brake pads can clear a few questions for me?

1) whats are the temp range 0-500, 200-800?

2) any screeching sound when brake is applied

3) durability of the pads compared to others

4) any tendancy to eat into the rotors?
