I had the solar film done for my previous ride at the shop next to Tan Chong bukit Timah workshop. Not sure if still there. No issue for 6 over years till scrap. No distortion no bubbles from day one.

I've been with RikeCool since my first car. So far so good. My previous car lasted for as long as it gets for 6.5 years until I sold it. Still going strong. No problems. My current car still with them. Saw 1-2 bubbles but ok. Nothing is perfect as long as it doesn't warp.

Anyone has recent experience on Rikecool. Was offered the Ice28 package from my SE. No idea what that is.

Read unflattering remarks on Rikecool on a few forums but some of these are many years back. It seems that Rikecool is the film installer working with most of the ADs in Singapore.

I've used rikecool in my previous car and present. Comparing it with CoolnLite and 3M which I've used all of them previously, rikecool is the best. It's durable, clear with good visibility, sticks well for rubber suction, good IR blocking and nice tint from inside (from outside is nice too but who cares).

3M is the worst; coolnlite does not block IR well.

All the films block UV, it's the IR that matters (tradeoff is visible light).

For specs, check out their website.

Personally, i must say they are good. My ride comes with it from Kah Motor. And it has 10 year warranty.

Recently, due to my carelessness, the film got peeled off. It's completely no fault of Rikecool material. its my own fault. I rem it has 10 year warranty. I called them up and say it peeled off, and they are willing to replace it with no questions asked.

And when i was at their workshop, i saw they are working on v high end cars. check out their website.

Always rem that its the after service that is more impt. Many vendors don't even honour warranty or make it v difficult for customers.
