Getting Philips Vision Plus

can any1 tell which is better - philips x-treme power or osram night breaker?

Sent an email to Osram, the NightBreaker will be launched in Jan '08.

 

Just curious, how do they get more light with the same wattage? Do they use different type of halogen gas inside?

i dun think night breaker is very white.

 

or u just look for good bulbs with good light throw?

Not looking at whiter lights, cos I hear it doesn't gives good visibility as compared to yellowish light. I'm ok with yellow looking lights but it must be bright.

 

Looking at night-breaker cos it got both H4 and H3 size (according to website info), just nice for my headlight and foglight, so they would gives similiar brightness as well as same colour.

 

Vision Plus is good too, but does not have H3 size, I think.

Osram but that model? I think Philips Vision Plus is around $30 ~ $35, I feel its a better buy. I got the Vision Plus at $30 a few years ago for my old ride thru someone, quite worth the money spent.

Likely will consider the night-breaker, cos I think its at the yellow side. I wonder if its LTA approved?

 

But currently my stock bulb still quite ok, maybe will change it later on when the brightness decrease...

like to change my bulbs but need to know from you guys which bulbs are brighter and longer throw with decent lifespan(above 1 year).

Previously I tried Philips Vision Plus, it is brighter than stock bulb, and slightly whiter than stock (but still consider yellowish). Lasted me >2 years until I traded in my car.

They are the brightest but the lifespan is really short

I'm thinking of changing the headlights on my ride to white ones... Been reading on this thread for quite some bit and decided to narrow down to 2, Vision Plus or Blue Vision.

 

I prefer the BV more. Although its LTA approved, can it pass inspection?
