Hi all,

I read in car maintenance book that recommends fixing an ATF Cooler in city driving. So I was wondering if I change ATF regularly say @ 20K will that do [confused] ? Reason being ATF Cooler cost about $300 [sweatdrop] . So what is the best option? Thanks

Change ATF every 20k better, fluid + labour ard 30-40 bucks. Assuming u'll drive ur car before next change with a mileage of ard 160k km, u will only b spending $240-$300. Even fixing a ATF cooler u'll still need to change the fluid only at a longer interval. Bo hua lah. shakehead.gif

Of course, if u go tracking frequently tats another story liao. smile.gif

Actually for older cars(dunno how those workshop categorize old from new), flushing of the auto tran not recommended by many workshops.
