Jagash Neutral Newbie August 25, 2004 Share August 25, 2004 Hi Karsoon Very nice. Did you do scratch X before NXT? How long did you let the NXT wax sit before you buff off? Can you update us the performance of NXT after 2 weeks. From my experience, the NXT wax gets wash off after about 5 shampoo washes and the swirl marks re-appear. Cheekg99 Neutral Newbie August 25, 2004 Share August 25, 2004 hhmmm sounds interesting ... why not video-tape the demo and upload it here ?
Karsoon Neutral Newbie August 25, 2004 Share August 25, 2004 Thanks Jagash. I got the scratch-x just in case if I cant cure my scratch on my bonnet with NXT. In other word, I did not use the scratch X. We waited ard 15min for the NXT to sit in before we started buffing off. It was stated on the bottle as well. I dont expect the shine to last for a week, not to mention 2 weeks. As I always park my car under sun/rain and usually shine will be gone after 3 days. The only way to keep the shine is to wash my car every twice a day. But I will be happy if I can have that shine for a week. Most wax will just cover the swirl marks. So, this is no expection. Jagash Neutral Newbie August 26, 2004 Share August 26, 2004 Thanks for the info. I was on NXT for 3 months and although the result was good, it did not last very long just like you anticipated. I now changed to S100. The first time I use it, the difference between S100 and NXT was quite amazing. The first time, I did a thorough wash, then the S100 SEC (Shine Enhancing Cleaner) followed by the S100 carnuaba wax. The 2nd time (1 week later) , I did the bonnet and the boots/spoiler but with an additional process...wash, SEC, scratch X and carnuaba wax. The 3rd time (another week later) , I did the bonnet alone.....wash, SEC, Meguiars No. 7 and carnuaba wax. The 4th time (another 3 days later)...wash, SEC, NXT and carnuaba. Later today, I will try...wash, SEC, scratch X, Meguiars No. 7, carnuaba wax. I think this combination would be perfect. I will post pictures as soon as I buy a digicam...yup!
