If I read correctly, for most sealants , it is recommended 24 hrs curing time so that it can bond properly to the paint. That is, only put a layer of wax or sealant after that time or else the bonding gets disrupted. .Even exposure to water will affect the durability of sealent..I learnt this the hard way it rained after I applied the sealant and it didn't last as long as before

Thats an interesting point. I also wondered if the Fusso needed one day to cure but in most detailing forums they layer on the wax after applying the sealant in one day so thats why i decided to go that way. Another point that helped in my judgement was the wax had no cleaning power whatsoever and should basically sit on top of the sealant and thus both would cure together.

 

But all basically is still trial and error so we can only wait and see..

No claybar as i clayed the car 2 months back. paint still smooth so skipped it of not will take another hour and i will probably collapse before i finish..

Hi, you mentioned you have tried Zaino, Glare etc before. Are they that bad (not good enuff compared to your manual labor)? Would like to find out more as I do not have time/patience to do that on my car. Would rather spend more time with my baby... But again, the car is also another "baby"... Am thinking now of using Glare (50% off till end Sept). So would like to find out more... Can I go back to normal wax and polish even after using Glare? Thanks.

hi I just did GLARE 2days ago. same thing 50% off and cheaper some discount too. same thing me lazy to spend hrs waxing. how come urs till Sept? me using Wheels card till end aug only.

 

can buy products form Glare if say after 18mths u prefer do on our own.

my is Wheels asia Card the star card i think is in the goodie bag but must take at bedok office no time take yet. I only pay $194 for the package(1+3) I bought their shampo and 1 fibre cloth. they recomemd me their detailer(wax like) but I test their shampoo first.

my is black car so should have $50 sur charge but they wavied for me. and by right car I driving is consider medium car$488 but was charge as $388package,

You meant $194 + 5% GST right? Dun tell me they absorbed GST for you also?
