Thanx 4 the plug Bro. But it's Bernard aka IceMan who does all the Wheels Asia write-ups. Yeh, Gary's 147 system, nice and neat and sounds good despite limitations from OEM HU. This one originally come W/ Bose system. Like most of the spesial branded OEM systems, usually not cheap but not 'real' car audio.

 

In contrast really elaborate job is the IceMan's Rex no holds barred SQ install.. This one's got extensive fibreglassing. Now that is a 3week job, in USA probably take a few months to complete. Guess the IceMan too shy to feature his own ride.

i am waiting for a friend to bring me a rim of wire from sound stream. OFC copper ones . big ones too.....

 

as you know that the octy have huge space in the tire compartment.... well i am thinking already.... how to make use of it..... to house 3 amps and 2 caps. for a simple see through plastic job how much will it cost me? apart from setting up my whole car sound system. Purely for the cosmetic like the fibreglass and plastic and wood?

 

or do you just charge by the day and those are material?

Is it a black 147 having the '147' number plate, right? If that's the case, it's acutually belongs to his good friend/buddy David.

No the 147 definitely is Gary's. I've known this guy for donkeys years even B4 I come into the car audio scene. He has a cousin David W/ a 156 maybe change to 147 or maybe swap cars W/ Gary or sumpthin.

Maybe Gary swap car with David (I know both of them & they are 'Ar Kar Liao' buddies). David used to own a Red 146 1.6 TS before he trade-in for the black 147 2.0 Selespeed.

 

David works in forex trading (U.S. market) so his working hours is from 5pm till next morning around 4am. During the day, he will be sleeping so maybe that's why Gary can drive the 147 during the day & hand over the car back to David before 5pm ?

Gary's relation with the 147 is quite strange. Sometimes it's the black one, sometimes it's the silver one...............

OK analyze a little. I did Garry's Alpha 147 when it was brand-brand new. That time David his cousin has the 146.

 

So maybe David buys a silver 147. He swaps W/ Garry sometimes becuz he wants to listen to the Audio.

 

Howsabout that for an analytical circumstancial possible scenario.

Hey! I finally manage to talk to him, you're right, he got another silver 147 2.0 Selespeed besides the silver 156 2.0 Selespeed Sorry for causing all the confusion . The Black '147' 2.0 Selespeed does belongs to David, I was thinking of buying the Red 146 from him but have other plans.

 

AutoS, maybe I'll drop by your shop one of this days with Gary, saw what you did on his Toyota LiteAce, all I can say is

Hmm if the black one really belongs to David, then I must have done that car system without even knowing who the rightful owner was. Gary claimed it was his new car. Imagine that! Maybe U just let the cat out of the bag, if what U say is correct abt the black one belonging to David and the silver to Gary.
