How to max out the Corolla G9?

I know cannot expect too much of a saloon car, but does the G9 have a speed limiter as it does not seem to be able to go any higher when rpm is not redline at 5th gear? Maxed out at mostly at 185km/h. I have checked around but it seems that it does not have a speed limiter as some bros have gone 200km/h. Just need more feedback here.

 

So what else can be done to up the speed or at least reach 6000rpm at 5th gear.

Some folks say

 

1) Change to TRD/KNN/HKS filter

2) Use Iridiums

3) Decat

4) Try fitting in Apexi RSM to remove speed limiter if any

5) Downgrade the tyre to 15 from 17

6) Remove spare tyre to reduce weight

7) Install a TC

8) Get a more powerful car

 

Not promoting speeding but just like to see what the car can do.

9) strip out the carpet, sound insulation, spare tyres, tools, jack, passenger seats, rear seats, ICE, anything that contributes weight and is not necessary to running the car...

 

10) go on a diet, lose 5 to 10kg

 

11) drive around with 1/4 tank of petrol all the time

 

12) replace the rear wheels with the skinniest (thinnest) tyres you can find to reduce drag. Or you can fit those space-saver spare tyres instead.

 

all the above steps will probably give you another 10km/h but at no extra cost

Already did all that and I went 1 up better slowpoke, I am dieting right now to lose 40-50 kilos right now cos I am a 130+ kg man!!

13) no seats weigh lesser than soft wood seats

14) you still need full sized tyres at the front for traction, rear tyres can change, cos they do nothing other than hold the rear of the car up

15) with such a bare car, I wouldn't dare drive it without a helmet
