Civices8 Neutral Newbie August 18, 2004 Share August 18, 2004 Hv any bros here used the E Power voltage stabilizer, think the brand is silvers ? How's the feedback ? Recommended ? Tks ↡ Advertisement
Mello Neutral Newbie August 18, 2004 Share August 18, 2004 I bought last weekend. So far, most obvious improvement is air-con colder.
Civices8 Neutral Newbie August 18, 2004 Author Share August 18, 2004 Is there any other improvements like response, better low end torque and stable voltage output especially when full load like headlamps, aircon and i.c.e kick in ?
Zacer Clutched August 18, 2004 Share August 18, 2004 bought for $$$? and ur Rpm while car idling is at wat RPM?

Str2 Neutral Newbie August 18, 2004 Share August 18, 2004 Hi Mello, Something is amiss here....the air-con compressor is run by the engine. How yr air-con get colder ? I can't understand that. I beg yr pardon but the stabilizer has nothing to do with it (air-con been colder). Rgds/Str2
Ahliew Neutral Newbie August 18, 2004 Share August 18, 2004 what powers the compressor?
Mello Neutral Newbie August 19, 2004 Share August 19, 2004 I not technical person, so i dunno about that. But thats what i felt lah, maybe not true lor. But i think the aircon also use eletricity?
Str2 Neutral Newbie August 19, 2004 Share August 19, 2004 The compressor is run by the engine via the air-con compressor belt. When u switch air-con on, u will hear the compressor clutch engaged to the engine and this add a load which makes us lose power when air-con is on.The ECU compensates and adjust the rpm to idling speed. U r unable to hv air-con when the engine is not running (even if the ignition is turn to 'ON'). So Z-Stab may hv made the fan run better giving cooling effect. Mello Neutral Newbie August 19, 2004 Share August 19, 2004 OIC.... Maybe that's the reason. So i guess its the fan that was working better. Cos i quite sensitive to temperature one, i get hot easily. And now my aircon cool me down quite fast even when i on level 1 oni.
Civices8 Neutral Newbie August 19, 2004 Author Share August 19, 2004 Another question, how long can the gadget last ? Capacitors in constant charging and discharging mode hv certain optimal life span.. Tks

Mello Neutral Newbie August 20, 2004 Share August 20, 2004 Not sure how long it will last, as i just bought it last week. Still observing wat it improves.
Mello Neutral Newbie August 20, 2004 Share August 20, 2004 My RPM when idling is slightly below 1000, maybe 800-900.
Wankie Clutched August 20, 2004 Share August 20, 2004 Hi, me also drivin jazz auto. So got improvementlah to the car's performance... Can share where u bought it & how much? PM me if not convenient, thks!
Zombie Neutral Newbie August 20, 2004 Share August 20, 2004 me also on Jazz..... also curious to know about the voltage stabilizer.... saw this RMK or something like that in the magazine. think it is 128 for 4pt grounding and 188 for 8 pt grounding. How about yours??? Then there is HVS, one of the first mod I wanted but never really get down to it. I guess with I get the apexi exhuast first, safcII, lower the car, apexi open pod at the moment. But I am very fickle minded, may change my priorities again and again...
Str2 Neutral Newbie August 21, 2004 Share August 21, 2004 Hi Mello, After a drive on yr Jazz (air-con ON) , open yr bonnet and look for wet pipes. If there are a lot of wet pipes, get them covered up with aluminium foil or insulating foam and that can further improve air-con performance and efficiency which leads to better F/C. ↡ Advertisement
