Andrewkb Neutral Newbie August 17, 2004 Share August 17, 2004 Anyone tried it ? At $260 (after 10% discount), it's really tempting ! Problem is, it seems that McWell OEM from some unknown source (Maximum Velocity is McWell's brand), so trustable ? http://www.onemotoring.com.sg/publish/onem...engine_oil.html ↡ Advertisement

Mojoe Neutral Newbie August 18, 2004 Share August 18, 2004 i don't go there any more... i went there to get a K&N filter for my previous ride and they fixed it up for me while i waited... later on when i opened it, i realised it didn't fit nicely.. the filter was slightly big. i went to check online and realised the code is meant for Hyundai Accent (I was driving a Ford Laser TX3). went back and demanded why... finally they said there's no existing K&N for Laser then (but stock arrived just) and they have been fitting this onto Lasers without any problems... the thing is they should have said in the beginning right? and they refused to change to the right one they are just interested in making moolah and don't really care IMHO
Luckcent 4th Gear August 18, 2004 Share August 18, 2004 You should threaten to bring it up to CASE if they dont change it to the right model.
Mojoe Neutral Newbie August 18, 2004 Share August 18, 2004 CASE? CASE is useless... negative word-of-mouth is more effective ... and this is not hear-say but my own experience... so everytime someone brings up McSwell, I'll state my case..

Elfenstar 3rd Gear April 16, 2006 Share April 16, 2006 Well better bring up and old post that could possibly be v. informative. To my knowledge, the best way would be to use a lightweight flywheel. And that helps heaps in acceleration too, but be warned. You revs will also drop faster/more between gears
