Ckoonyin Neutral Newbie March 18, 2007 Share March 18, 2007 So end of the day, it could be the tension of the wiper arms and or the windscreen problem ya? But how to differentiate ah? or how to adjust the wiper arm tension? ↡ Advertisement
Siong75 Clutched March 19, 2007 Share March 19, 2007 I can also say and very sure that end of day it is NOT the tension of wiper arm now after I have used the above product and monitored for days...the jumping of wipers due to RainX no longer happen liao

Kelpie 2nd Gear April 10, 2007 Share April 10, 2007 1. Better for me, I don't spent any money or waste my time on using chemical on my windscreen. Why buy a car that is expensive and worrying about juddering wipers? Have you guys even heard of juddering wipers in high end car? 2. Go normal snow car wash also will not affect me these days. Ber82 Neutral Newbie June 21, 2007 Share June 21, 2007 So.. which one is better? I having the juddering problem also... thinking of changing my wipers.... any recommendation guys? tks..
Maersk1 1st Gear June 21, 2007 Share June 21, 2007 bro....i had the same problem before, but after giving my windscreen a 'water spa'....now problem all gone....my wipers is now wiping very smoothly.
Boyboy 1st Gear June 21, 2007 Share June 21, 2007 i rain Xed my wipers for rainy season. at first ok, then start juddering. after some time, the juddering goes away completely. if the juddering (and therefore rain x treatment) is permanent, they can close shop liao on NSH, i rather off wiper and let the wind "blow off" the raindrops. even in pouring rain. of course gotta go above 100 to do tt bottom line, can u wait for the juddering to stop? Sparcoray Clutched June 21, 2007 Share June 21, 2007 Bro... normally I'll cleaned the wiper blades to clean away the residence on the blades. or if juddering during pouring rain, i'll spray some water from car to ease the juddering. hee hee... or BEST change new ones. Ultramega 1st Gear June 21, 2007 Share June 21, 2007 i never had juddering problem before, because i get to the root of the problem and prevent it from there. my friends who used to have the problem no longer have it after following my simple advise. actually the cause of juddering problem is very simple. it is caused by friction (yes, it's that simple!). just get rid of the friction and the problem will be solved. what i do is wash windscreen and wipers regularly (yes, wipers need to be washed as well! wipe your wipers with a piece of tissue paper and see how dirty it is. many people overlook this and end up changing them). sometimes when i'm lazy to wash car i will still make an effort to do a simple 3min wash and wipe for the windscreen and wipers. see how many times i used the word "simple"? it's just that! no need all the fanciful methods. Nothingtodo 1st Gear June 21, 2007 Share June 21, 2007 Plain water with constant cleaning of residue from wipers is the way. Avoid Rain-X from windscreen at all cost!!!! Hv not change my wipers since collected new ride since 10 March. So far so good.
Droll Neutral Newbie June 21, 2007 Share June 21, 2007 aaah i do exactly the same thing. can't stand dirty glass. a piece of wet cloth and some wet tissue usually does the trick for front, rear, and side mirrors.
Evilernie 4th Gear June 21, 2007 Share June 21, 2007 I only experience juddering after the activate the wiper for a while, I will wash or clean the wiper everything I wash my car (once a fortnight) doesn't have this problem previously using the old wiper. My current wipe is only six month old max, wonder does it got to do with me parking under the sun frequently, my office doesn't have shelter.
Ber82 Neutral Newbie June 25, 2007 Share June 25, 2007 thk you all for your advice... I'm washing my windscreen using plain water and not using any other "stuff" to enhance the washing. As for the wipers.... I was actually told not clean it cuz will cause friction. Now.. i'm like confused. Haha. I really really hate the juddering whenever I drive on rainy days... argh, the feeling shucks. Maybe I shud try clean wiper with tissue or something. Surprisingly... only the right hand side one is having the judder problem... my ride is a Colt. So it is the longer wiper that is causing the problem. I was recommended TWISTER wiper... is it good? Read that the Bosch Aero Twin is pretty good as well.
Tanjkp Clutched June 25, 2007 Share June 25, 2007 I had been having this judder for past 2 yrs on the new FD. After using wiper cleansing solution, turpentine, cleaning agents etc all failed to stop the right blade. Even cleaning the blade also didn't help. So one day I decided to turn the the blade around by sliding it out from the holder and put it the other way round and horray ! the judder stop ! It used to "brakkkkk !!" from half way on the return. Ultramega 1st Gear June 25, 2007 Share June 25, 2007 wah..who sabo you? haha don't clean wipers how can? imagine wiping a table with a piece of cloth that hasn't been washed for months. will the table be clean? no comments on those wipers you mentioned cos i have never used them before. i use cheapo rubber wipers. cheap, no juddering and wipes water off as promised. what more can i ask for? cars don't need expensive wipers, they just need wipers.
