I do .. even before John Taylor, I am lightfooted and drive w/o aircon as much as poss. And I do not revv above 2.5 usually and keep my speeds within 90 most of the time. Still ..

you must be driving a manual, right?

Yeah , agree .. but so many similar observations rgding the FC efficiency mean it cannot be too far off. 600km on full tank might be possible to achieve .. or in John Taylor's case, if there aint so many barriers and the car is able to travel constantly without braking.

mine is a auto [nod]. everything stock, car about 8 months old

i keep to 2000rpm (read:80km or below), try not to rev above that unless o/t

highway/city driving is 80:20, a lot of night driving so air-con didn't on

try that, should work cos initially my fc was only 10.5-11km/l, now it's 13-14km/l

mine's auto ex .. don't think there's very much diff bet ex or ss tho. Actually, don't drive until tank dry .. usually 1/4 left .. by then would have travelled abt 300+ km ..reckon around 10/11 lah. Worse than my previous B14 model.

yes, driving w/o aircon and less frequent braking (presuming traffic is smoother during night time?) should improve FC.

i don't believe in this guy unless he travel expressway 100% and really stick to 80km and off his engine at traffic light etc....
