Mody Neutral Newbie August 9, 2004 Share August 9, 2004 Hi All I'm thinking of change my car to Nissan Prairie 2.0L. Cost about $94,500.00 Actually was looking at Toyota Wish 1.8, Cost $92,800.00 But wifey prefer Prairie as it is similar with Picnic (out of budget) Can anyone give some feed back on this car? Which is better??? ↡ Advertisement
Route Clutched August 9, 2004 Share August 9, 2004 i'm currently driving my mum's praire.. love its digital meters and the sliding door is kinda cool too.. fc however is very high... i get like 430 - 450 on a full tank with shell 98 which is also one thing i notice is the car tends to drift a little when cornering at speed of around 35km/h... this however can be solved by changing the rims to 15" or 16" as so i've heard. Wheels of the car is also too soft for my preference and the car vibrates upon reaching 100km/h on the expressway... have heard lots about the wish and would assume its a better car compared of the praire... test drive both of them.. guess it all boils down to personal preference.. Mody Neutral Newbie August 9, 2004 Author Share August 9, 2004 That what i heard too on Wish but the car brought in by PI. They only offer 2 years warrant or 30,000km... Did test drive the Prairie, don't think can speed with this car... maybe taht why my wife seem so keen hahahaha

Mody Neutral Newbie August 9, 2004 Author Share August 9, 2004 Honda Stream: Saw the 3rd row sit... don't fancy small & no leg room. Btw do you know how long had Prairie been in the market? Don't wish to have a car which is gonna change soon....

Zakuii 1st Gear August 10, 2004 Share August 10, 2004 I've heard others saying Prairie's 3rd row is even worse than Stream's. I looked into the Prairie and found it to be quite true. Almost no legroom available in the 3rd row. I guess you need to verify this first.
Mody Neutral Newbie August 10, 2004 Author Share August 10, 2004 Hi Tested no problem on leg issue. According to my wife it is more spaces that Wish.
Undecissive Neutral Newbie September 30, 2004 Share September 30, 2004 Hi, Just wondering if you have bought your Nissan Prairie ? I'm also looking around, narrowed down to two : Nissan Prairie or Toyota Picnic (not Wish, because not used to buying PI cars). The price difference is S$10K. Very different right ? Yes, Nissan is smaller and heard from many people Nissan cars all FC very high... You like your Nissan ? Any recommendation ? Undecissive... ↡ Advertisement
