Hi! there, everyone,

Attached a twin caliper config, used by racing Alfas. Sure cheaper & better that 10-pot Tarox.

Hi Paul,

Looking at the disc, are the pads new (ie not bedded in yet)? The contact area looks kinda narrow and uneven.

cheers

Hi! there, Myfocus,

I've been trying to get a set of these, but it's only for the Autodelta racecars.

Too much work involve in fabricating new knuckles to mount the twin calipers.

I've asked my friends in UK to keep a lookout for them.

If I can get my hands on the knuckles it will fit my car, as the suspension design is the same.

Hi! there, TB,

Those are the front brakes, dunno what they use for the rear yet. The problem is the cars are still racing, especially since it's raced by their owners, so not much chance of a wrecked one.

Source for the front hub/axle assembly then! [;)]

Well, if you're doing some track driving but not all out racing then the Tarox or AP Racing multipot upgrades should be suffice.

Another alternative is to use Porsche brakes, check out www.movit.de

Hi! there, TB,

I don't use my car on the track, as I'd rather go driving on the trunk roads. I've given up on track racing, though I've never done it in a car. At the moment, I'm still contemplating on whether to improve the handling of my car, as the engine power increase doesn't justify the cost. Presently, I can get another cyl. head for $50/-, so I can take my sweet time to work on it.

This idea probably from brake drum shoes (two sides). and brake disc can not be very big diam. since two calipers need space, and sure the rim min size at 17"

Greetings Paul,

I was about to suggest importing one as a track car (ie not registered for road use), then do a swap, then I read later you dun intend to track the car. Oh well......

Cheers

Hi! there, Myfocus,

Many have asked me to go to the track in my car, as it was made for the track, notably, the first World Championship winner, but I prefer a more exciting drive than what I'd get from the track.
