wonder if there is no more same cc, same spec engine can we changed the engine to another model from the manufacturer and get approved too. Eg. 12A change to 13B kekeke

actually therotically, from the wordings of LTA guidelines....it is possible.

 

but in Sg, I have yet to hear of someone that actually suceeded in doing so. most likely LTA will find fault with your car and deem it not road worthy and advice you to send to the scrap yard.

nice to see u here too. can learn more things here and post at other places too. Just thinking of alternatives only. I got the pricing etc not very exp but if its legal will be good. meanwhile my 12a engine is good enough for normal transport.

Usually for timing belt, the cost is around 300-400...depending on you change your water pump as well or not.

 

Change Autotrans should cost you around 70-80bucks...brake fulid maybe around 40-50 bucks...

 

Aircon filter and airfilter both if Mitsu stuff might cost 60 odd

 

Syn servicing is around 100 odd (70-90 for 4L oil, 10 oil filter plus 100 for the Idrium plugs)

 

Wheel balancing & Tyre rotation should be around 20 odd....

 

They did not paint your bumper rite...just polish off only or did they respray your bumper ? Knocking will cost around 70-100...depending on the work and skill.

 

Shock absorbers are not changed...undercarriage not changed....

 

I think the workshop charge you around 300 odd for workmanship ??
