I have no idea! Somebody is asking relative to bring back Apex lowering spring for Kalos. Lowers 30mm compared to the Kalos Blue's 25mm.

Hey, looks like we got another bro interested in lowering his ride! [thumbsup]

Just checked with my relative, maximum number of sets he can carry in is 5. Any one else interested? Then we can get a better price [;)]

Will need a confirmation by mid August, cos my relative will be here in late Sept, or maybe even sooner.

Genie & Nuke, if you guys are 'on' about the lowering springs, please confirm with me so that I can get my relative to reserve 3 sets first. Even in the UK, these springs are quite difficult to find.

Cheers!

Hi guys, sorry for the last minute thingy [blush]

My relative is leaving UK on Sat(7/8/04), some last minute business stuff. Anyways.....I'll need a confirmation of who wants the lowering springs. Latest by Thursday evening can? [:)]

Thanks. [;)]

Ah I found this thread.

I am in London now. I did call two dealers and a workshop but they are reluctant *cough* lazy *cough* to help me find the part numbers. I'll try an independant (at least I think it is) workshop and see what happens.

DAMN! Just found out from an Opel owner. Kalos Blue/Sport lowering springs are Apex Suspension springs! Should have gotten Aveo_powered's offer to get the Apex springs!

I've called 13 Daewoo showrooms and aftersales centres over the past 2 weeks. Today, incidentally also happens to be 13th. [sweatdrop] So, I'll give up here.

Anyway, bad news. After being given the run around, I've concluded that the Daewoo dealers aren't top notch with customer service. Nobody wanted to give me the part numbers.

Some said "No.", others said "Kalos Blue doesn't come with sports suspensions" and the best was "I need your engine and chassis number to check the system for part numbers."!!!

Sorry, I couldn't be of more help.

Good stuff. Be sure to get a camber kit. Available locally! I think CK Motor does it. One of the Optra owners did it. The camber kit for the Aveo and Optra are the same for the front and the Aveo needs only the front.

Sorry; I just don't understand why anyone would want to lower their Aveo springs? The best selling point of the car is its height, seat height and headroom.

Almak, hope your car won't look will the Proton Wira, or the COE Honda Civic i.e., touching the road surface, lol. [laugh]
