Teflon based polishes

Hi,

I was jus wondering about recent concerns over the dangers of teflon products under high temperatures. How about teflon based polishes? Anybody have any idea?

Teflon based polishes are known to be ineffective in protection.

Think most us use teflon coated pots and pans. That's more of concern.

For car polish, shouldn't be serious as the hotest temp is the sunshine.

In fact, teflon make the best car polish and last longer than average wax ones.

Pray, tell, how? Many new carpaint protection companies are promoting it, and also very expensive.

You got it all wrong, what lasts on a frying pan can last on a car's body surface but it does not protect. That is the bottomline. No protection = polishing for nothing! All in vain!

Yo. if i'm not wrong, toughseal are using teflon base.

Genie 47 is right. There have been studies on teflon and some conclusion

have been drawn that it does not protect againt UV light etc which means it will not protect the paintwork.
