Teflon based polishes

Hi,

I was jus wondering about recent concerns over the dangers of teflon products under high temperatures. How about teflon based polishes? Anybody have any idea?

Think most us use teflon coated pots and pans. [sweatdrop] That's more of concern. [:/]

For car polish, shouldn't be serious as the hotest temp is the sunshine. [:|]

In fact, teflon make the best car polish and last longer than average wax ones.[thumbsup]

You got it all wrong, what lasts on a frying pan can last on a car's body surface but it does not protect. That is the bottomline. No protection = polishing for nothing! All in vain!

Genie 47 is right. nod.gifThere have been studies on teflon and some conclusion

have been drawn that it does not protect againt UV light etc which means it will not protect the paintwork.thumbsdown.gif
