yup.... miles of space in a double decker bus [laugh][laugh][laugh] .... can have games room, home movie theatre.... at nite juz fold down the beds, extend the sides, morning can have mini jucuzi bath, if got v12 10 litre supercharged engine: can run fast on highways......... satelite tv, tow a rex or evol behind.......

i think soccer teams, music bands, F1 teams, etc have customised ones to travel in comfort and save time $$$ spending time in hotel or motel.... since houses/flats prices are so high in sgp, this may be a good alternative........

cheers

Too bad this is Singapore - automotive engineering/sciences get almost zero coverage here, apart from basic theoretical concepts. Precious little hands-on work. Otherwise pp could be so much more DIY, and not get routinely ripped off by workshops and mechanics charging the sky for actually simple operations that can be easily done at home.shakehead.gif

Bet it's different in countries like US, UK and Germany with their huge production plants.

What to do. Machines are dead sciences. Unless you cook up some cyborg car or Robocop thing, then got some life sciences and can get promoted nationwide tongue.gif.

Not if we cover it with MCF decals and hide the SBS signs! laugh.gif

Actually, a double decker sounds like a fabulous entertainment concept! Even if it doesn't actually drive anywhere, would make a very fun thing - bar counter downstairs, seats upstairs, and if on a nice patch of ideally seaside ground, can string fairy lights and have dancing outside and aircon inside.

Hey there's this perfect hidden away patch in Punggol, on the way to the marina!!!

Sigh, sigh, sigh.......... yeah, all we've got is a bunch of half-baked good-for-nothing self-proclaimed mechanics ripping off pple like you n i on a regular basis!! [:/][:/][:/] ....

hmmmm.....lemme put on my thinking cap for a few nites and try come up with a concept or two to promote self/mutual help for fellow motorists, so that routine and minor repair jobs can be DIY on a group basis and keep those maroons out of the pictures........

be back soon....

Quite ok if you drive reeeeaaaaally slowly, and don't have a lowered car... well, that rules out all the Honda guys then! [laugh][lipsrsealed]

It's sandy and uneven, so no good for bofykits. Good for fishing though...

It's on way in towards Ponggol Marina, there's an opening in the bush somewhere along on the right.

Can get a bit muddy and brambly on the sides, so may not be good for meetups if you want to keep your car pristine!

But once there, it's big open sandy land facing Straits of Singapore and Johor port on the other side. Got some pp fishing along the railing. Surprising that there are such places in SG at all!

Lightspeed, MRT train would be even better, provided you can steal one nod.gifbounce2.gif

Actually, maybe no need to steal. That new Punggol LRT line, if you've driven around that whole area, apart from 3 stations, the rest is serving NOTHING, as in, really NOTHING.

Stations in the middle of wide open undeveloped cleared ground, and tracks running through forest. Serious!

We should propose to LTA to turn that into our next tourist attraction of the hawker centre on rails. Otherwise surely white elephant.

There was an ad which I saw at Yahoo Auctions few months back.

Someone was offering a business deal with investment of few hundred k involving one mrt carriage with proposals to convert it into a diner.
