Automatic retractable radio antenna

Need to check with the bros and sis here. My car currently has those retractable radio antenna at the top of the A-pillar on the right. I find it quite ugly and much prefer my previous car which uses a hidden internal antenna (or maybe even those shark fin ones found on BMW and Saab).

 

Has anyone changed before to those that will automatically retract when engine shut down? How much and where to get it? Maybe I should also ask whether if got such thing in the first place or not.

yep, elec retractable antennas that auto retract when u shut down do exist.

those on the nissan sunny pre face lift one has the retractable antenna, same goes for the camry mah...

Audio shops, such as may have ex stock, especially the older shops.

 

Try Alexandra village, there are a few "older" audio shops.

 

Got to change the whole assembly, came together with motor.

 

If you are JB shoppers, higer even higher chance to get.

The motor is still working. Is it possible antenna can be purchased separately or at least changed out the antenna mast only?
