Turbobrick Neutral Newbie October 3, 2002 Share October 3, 2002 Not sure about the Western part mechs but BVO and Autofix are both in Sin Ming area.
Staloy Neutral Newbie October 14, 2002 Share October 14, 2002 Hi there... Would you be able to advise if BVO or Autofix is better? What are their specialities, ie.. is one better than the other dependent on the model? What about the latest S60 or S80, do you know if they can handle them? Also, what kind of $ are we looking at for a normal 15k km servicing? Thanks in advance..... btw, is BVO a short form?
Turbobrick Neutral Newbie October 14, 2002 Share October 14, 2002 I've been to both and must say BVO has more Volvo experience No particular model specialty and normal servicing should not run past $200. BVO is the shop name.
Mondeo Neutral Newbie November 8, 2002 Share November 8, 2002 BVO is good for Volvo and Autofix is good for Opel.
Koolaba 1st Gear November 8, 2002 Share November 8, 2002 Hi Gavin, Is it cheaper to get parts like Volvo oil filter and expendables from BVO or from Unico itself?
Turbobrick Neutral Newbie November 8, 2002 Share November 8, 2002 Parts prices are cheap at SM Motors, they've revised their prices early this year and now similar price between SM and Unico, sometimes Unico gives extra 5-10% off, used to be 20% no questions asked when SM's markup was high. Fastforward Neutral Newbie December 20, 2002 Share December 20, 2002 Normal servicing should not be any problems, however with the newer cars, I suggest you go back to SM. I took mine out to BVO to fix a cooling system problem and to be honest I should have gone back to SM in the first place.
