Ford Focus - Dubious Origin of "New" Leather Seats

Collected my Focus this month and found the leather seats (which I paid $1k for it) to be old..... There was no leather scent and the main sections (where the bums mainly reside) are clearly aged/of a different colour tone than the other sections of the seats....

Everyone (family, friends and colleagues) agrees that the these seats are not new ones. In fact, there was a small penknife cut on one of the seats too....which RM agrees to replace....

However, RM claimed that the seats are fitted by Tomo and are new....

Anyone has any suggestion for concrete verification? Thanks!!!

Unless things have changed drastically, I believe RM should still be using Jackspeed.

Get your SE to put down in black-and-white that the leather seats are new. Bring it to Tomo to get them to verify that they did the work, also get it in black-and-white, then, bring to another third-party to confirm.

PM me if you need more details.

But, also remember to enjoy your new Focus!!! It's a damn-good-handling car! thumbsup.gif

Bro, your seats are a special grey that no one else has... Their shades are closer to black. This colour is lighter, hence looks different when compared to the more common black ones. Anyway, they have promised to change the one with the scratch mark as it is covered under warranty, so no worries! =)

Brothers, just to let you know that the issue has been resolved. Brother Shsoh will be getting all his leather seats replaced at Ubi soon. Cheers! =)
