I've stopped using chamois on the car body!

Chucked the chamois to drying the rims. I'm using microfibre cloth for drying the body. The results are fantastic. Much better than chamois. Washing it in the washing machine cleans it up fast and I got a clean cloth to use again. Chamois gets dirty and the dirt is very difficult to remove. Even those synthetic ones are a pain to clean.

You all should try it! Use MF cloth for your drying needs! [sunny]

Got the yellow one AhKoh got from the KAIO and KSG MO.

There are some selling under the brand of U-Care in IMM Home Fix DIY for $10. If you want bigger sizes I recommend this guy:

http://www.waynestowels.com

He got sizes as big as bath towels! Can use as bath towels if you want [shocked] !

Yes. Much better. All the chamois is catch too much dirt making them dirtier as you use them. In the end, to dirty for use. Also the chamois is not as thirsty as the MF cloth. Better than real chamois leather as well because you an launder it easily. No water streaks as well.

But this is mainly for the plush kind of MF cloth. The thin 3M ones are best used dry and not as a car body dryer.

Agree with you about the chamois.

Chamois also removes wax, most people are recommending MF, or cotton. I tried 100% cotton terry towels. Any recommendations on good and value-for-money MF towels?

Lots selling in bulk off the Internet. Prices are good too. Some people even use them as bath towels! [cool]

Just search under Google "microfiber towel".

I also recommend http://www.waynestowels.com

Wayne tests his towels by using them to polish CDs. If scratch, he reject.

Is it plush and furry like a bath/face towel? Should be about this plush for it to be useful. Can be used on car but I think only drying. 3M ones are better used dry as buffing MF cloth.
