2004 Toyota Passo

Yes- Totoya Passo what the PIs bring in and is identical to the Daihatsu Sirion, except Sirion comes only in 1.3L. Toyota owns Daihatsu. In BOTH cases, the price is relatively high for a 1.3L. Toyota 'Boon' is the name for JDM.

 

Don't be fooled by the compact size, interior space is very good. Drive feels clinical and detached, no feeling, no involvement, just point and go. Fuel efficiency is excellent. Just search for Daihatsu Sirion thread in MCF.

I just collected my 1.L Passo this week.

 

So far, the ride is smooth and steady, can 't really compare to the higher CC- Swift or jazz,

Interior feels much spacious than i think. Light steering but easy handling. Responsive. A to B car.

 

PI was good, last min throw in Reverse sensor, car mat, redo the No. plate colour to match my car,

and refund me the diff of the OMV cos of the drop of japan Yen (Almost 1k). And he still looking around

for my door visor (free). He makes the car buying a good experience.

 

well, i ll write a more detail review later after few more weeks with the Passo.

I don't think it's 64K.. think those were 2004 prices...

about mid 50k, , was good price then, now price drop again.

but anyway, i m happy that i got my car now before the festive season.( my Xmas present for myself)

Sweet ... looks like u got yourself a great deal. At first, I also thought getting the 1.0l Passo because of better FC. But realise it only comes in Auto from a friend, i'm a manual guy . Couldn't agree more on the good points u mentioned. my fiends were also impressed with the interior space for a compact car.

 

What colour is your Passo? Mine is a Shining Red Sirion... something funny happen to me a few weeks back, an identical shining red Passo parked directly a few lots beside my Sirion. Seeing the Passo first, I walk up the car and try to unlock it with my keyless entry... no respond... ??? "so fast spoiled, only 2 weeks leh" ... walk to the front then realise, "hey the badge is different"... at first didn't suspect wrong car as a red Passo/Sirion is quite rare on the roads.

 

My Sirion just celebrated it's first month last week and clocked its first 2000km. What servicing package did your agent offer u?

Well, my is a Peal white, my wife pick the colour. Nice, but paid more for the colour too.

 

Servicing is 3yrs or 60k.
