I can say that this car is impressive as it is the best car they ever build so far!

 

The finishing and interior plastics quality is way better than Altis and comparable to the European cars interior. Lots of small gadgets like the rear passengers cup holders, twin battery plug, rear passenger arm rest with cabinets.

 

You can see from the car they emphasis a lot on sound proofing the car to cut down road noise on the exterior and the engine compartment. Engine used is a refinement of the current Spectra engine.

 

Book now will come with Guarantee COE and if you get the Premium Edition which additional of $3K comes with Kenwood touch-screen DVD player, 15" OZ rims and 2 tone leather seats which is very attractive.

 

Do check out the showroom and have a closer look at the car, you will be impressed!

Seriously, I think with cerato and this kind of pricing, Hyundai has a formidable foe in budget car category. With Cerato having the advantage with better engine and better looking car. However C&C flop in their marketing (as usual) as they took away the abs and airbag.

well, the Cerato really look good but how about the Petrol Comsumption, DOHC 16V engine

korean car has lousy FC due to their dino age engine technology. for this cerato, i believe the FC should be below the current spectra. Time will telll if my guess is right.

 

Reason:

Heavy car weight (a massive 1.3 tons)

Old Spectra engine with just minor refinement

The car is not bad. however C&C is stupid to take away the abs and airbag.

 

They have to take out the airbags and ABS so as to make the car price competitive and affordable cos this car comes with 4 airbags by default so the price will be like around $80K with all the airbags, ABS and rear disc brake!

 

Guess most 1.6 Jap cars only comes with 1-2 airbags but this car comes with 4 airbags in European countries as it emphasis a lot on the safety, just that Singapore version dun have.

Even if the FC is bad, don't think it will be as bad as the Matrix. Even current Jap cars like Mazda 3 and Altis, the best FC they can get is only 12km/litre which I don't think it is impressive for a Jap cars compared to the Jap corolla.

 

So if you give me a Mazda 3 and a Cerato, I will take Cerato anytime compared the quality of the interior and the gadgets you get to enjoy for a 1.6cc car!

Hmmm no comment becoz the mazda 3 looks dun appeal to me and it drive like a tortise. As for cerato, with its heavy weight, it may not perform better than mazda3.

For the same price, i can get a ABS and airbag Vios? Which cfm will have better FC but not as feature packed and more crampy rear.
