Question on Alpine 9815 HU

I have seen on other forums that they claim that Alpine 9815 has a RDS tuner. However, mine does not show any names of the station. Have to key in myself. Anyone using the same HU care to advise on the above?

If your HU has RDS, you dun have to key in anything and the radio station will show up when you set the presets. Only those non RCS station like Power 98, 91.3 etc has no display.

 

Check if you have the following functions like TP...if you have this button on your HU, then its a RDS equip unit..or check the logos on the HU. If RDS equip, it will show the RDS logo on the HU.
