Hi Maudyi,

Not true.

Washing and waxing doesnt cause swirl marks on your car.

it all depends on how you wash and what you use to apply and wash.

Foundamental of car washing,

1. Dont wash when the car is hot

2. Wash the car under shade

3. Use hose and lots of running water if you can, unless you know how to use pails. Jazziegal is giving free training on how to wash your car with pails. Enrolment is now on. You can sign up for the course if you want.

4. Use good car shampoo and 100% cotton cloth/towel

5. Dry your car after wash and dont put pressure on it.

Hi Maudyi,

Welcome to MCF ! nod.gif

You can check out the RESOURCES folder for the detailing threads... and also the DETAILING folder for more info.

Polishing is the use of a substance containing chemical agents or abrasive particles and applied to smooth or shine a surface.

Paint protection is the application of an organic or synthetic compound over the paintwork to protect it from external elements and contamination.
