Hi folks,

I am new here. And have been browsing these forums for some time. For those who are interested, I came across some sources where they validate/invalidate some of these wonderful gadgets, thingy etc that promise you the world. Conclusion: draw your own. Some of you have your pet devices whereas some of you are pure sceptics.

I came across the above after reading about the magnets and Ecoteq. Now I am very confuse!

Now I am trying to find some material on far infra red gadgets on automotive performance. I heard from someone that you clipped the thing on the fuel line also. Anyone got any info?

Firstly, Welcome to MCF.

Actually there's not exact answer regarding your question, take example of Ecotek, UK got a good name on this products, but alot of pple also claimed it doesn't work at all. Different products may only suitable for some type of cars but not all kind of cars. Be always remember one thing=Speed is Expensive. If pple want better fuel economy, they should choose the 650cc car instead of EVO7.

The forum's pple contribute their opinions ONLY. Anyhow, you've the only one to decide the 'Black or White' at the end since you're the one who give out the money.

Cheers!

Another side note...

I've read some independant tests on motor oils...

The breakdown temperature, the viscousity index, and other factors that affects the quality of a motor oil of Amsoil oil is in the same range as most synthetic motor oils such as Quaker State, Mobil 1.

Usually, for the most line of products (different grades), Mobil 1 and Redline comes out on top.

Of course, the "actual" wear as inspected on engine after using each oil do not entirely depends on the factors above... Since Amsoil claimed that their oil produce the least wear on engines, nobody cannot argue about it..

The conclusion is that Amsoil oil have similar break down range, viscousity index as most other synthetic oil, however, some unknown quality of this oil cause this product to produce the least wears on engine in the tests conducted by Amsoil.

Redline oil is extremely expensive, and the quality is quite a bit better than the runner up oil...

Hi Mondeo!

U a Mondeo owner? I just scrapped my 96 Audi A6 and changed to a 98 Ford Mondeo. Will get the car keys on Monday. Any quirks, things to look out for on this car? Appreciate it!. Did you fix the windows to make it a one -touch down? If so, where did you get it fix and how much?

http://www.mirez.co.uk/ModMenu.htm

The above website mentioned the DIY on doing the one-touch down electric window mod. At this point have not mustered enough courage to DO it...Just curious whether have u done it or u have got someone to do it for u. Sigh... maybe have to roll up sleeves to do myself lor...

Must becareful because many companies are just out to make a quick buck. Don't just believe what manufacturers claim. If there is a money back guarantee, you can give it a try to see if it works for you. Of course you must make sure that your source won't just take your money and run.
