Isn't it $5k + $(700x12x10)???

Isn't it $5k + $(700x12x10)??? hee alright i counted in the interest also... 10 yr loan is about 2.45% per year... so total of 24.5% interest on your loan amount... means $700*12*10 = $84000 is actually 124.5% of your loan amount. so dividing gives you about $67.5k that you loaned plus your $5k gives 72.5k

Sapience Clutched May 17, 2004 Share May 17, 2004 So maybe I shd get the Optra then... you can get an altis for that price! prefer conti cars :) although this aveo is "KIA" how did u calculate 72.5k??? Isn't it $5k + $(700x12x10)??? i think this calculation is an approximation with the total payable loan included... let's see, assuming interest to be 2.5% p.a. ... 700 x 12 x 10 + 5000 = 89000 89000 = B + X (B = cost of car, X = interest payable) X = B * 2.5% * 10 = 0.25B 89000 = 1.25B => B = 71200 well there you have it, you can buy a car worth 71200 ... yippee... Genie47 1st Gear May 18, 2004 Share May 18, 2004 If you want to keep the economy, I suggest the manual. It is cheaper and you can squeeze 12-13km/L out. A small car does not benefit from AT but MT. ↡ Advertisement
