Cute Mud Flaps/Guards

oh issit? never asked, he just told me but didn't mentioned hatch or sedan. Will check again when i visit them.

if it's a slight adjustment, can't you cut them to size? Use the original one as a template... I'm thinking of cutting mine so that it doesn't appear at all...

if you put bodykits on, you have to remove the mudflaps anyway.. it's not a vital or necessary thing. Maybe I'll just remove them for a while and see how it goes...

Just re-read the above threads and realized that most people are trying to find nice mudflaps to put on their cars which don't have any in the first place.. and here I am trying to take them off I guess we all want a new look to our cars to make the car nice all over again...

yeah....and as far as i can see, some cars look really damn awful with mud flaps on, not to mention those colorful colorful types.....

mudflaps never look nice as nice, IMO, esp if you are opting for the clean look. But if you get mudflaps with performance brands on them, you get 10 more horses...

Yeah, especially Lancers with red "ralliart" mudflaps, adds about 20hp

But the question remains - do they really help to keep the car body cleaner?? Esp. with the high/big wheel arches of the focus... if still dirty then what's the use... apart from the added bhp...

I think they do..reducing the chance of little pebbles hitting the car behind too

it adds 30hp ok? not just 20hp...

 

plus don't need to install magnets after that...

 

it acts as a huge magnet to white ants

actually, dunno if its my imagination or what...

 

the mudflaps help to go thru water better, like if your caught with a few inches of flood, and u decide to "chiong" .... smoother I'd say!

 

and my previous car without mudflaps used to get this mud splashes at the bottom sideskirts area....

 

now with my added hp mud flaps on my present car...no more mud splashes....

 

plus it gets tongues wagging too...with just about everyone asking me

 

"why on earth did u put those ugly red things??? damn ugly and beng!"

I thought it went pretty well with my altezza and red reflectors....

 

and anyway, you're not the first nor the last to poke fun at it
