Cardinal Neutral Newbie September 19, 2002 Share September 19, 2002 if it's a slight adjustment, can't you cut them to size? Use the original one as a template... I'm thinking of cutting mine so that it doesn't appear at all...
Magfocus 5th Gear September 19, 2002 Share September 19, 2002 I sure hope it would be available for the sedan, seeing that its gaining popularity Now the doors get dirty really easily
Magfocus 5th Gear September 19, 2002 Share September 19, 2002 Come to think of it, i believe the front flaps are the same, maybe only the rear is different Doesn't appear??
Cardinal Neutral Newbie September 19, 2002 Share September 19, 2002 if you put bodykits on, you have to remove the mudflaps anyway.. it's not a vital or necessary thing. Maybe I'll just remove them for a while and see how it goes...
Seansene 1st Gear September 19, 2002 Share September 19, 2002 Bodykits? Us??
Cardinal Neutral Newbie September 19, 2002 Share September 19, 2002 Just re-read the above threads and realized that most people are trying to find nice mudflaps to put on their cars which don't have any in the first place.. and here I am trying to take them off I guess we all want a new look to our cars to make the car nice all over again... Magfocus 5th Gear September 19, 2002 Share September 19, 2002 I wonder how the car would look like with mudflaps on though
Freemason Neutral Newbie September 19, 2002 Share September 19, 2002 yeah....and as far as i can see, some cars look really damn awful with mud flaps on, not to mention those colorful colorful types.....
Cardinal Neutral Newbie September 19, 2002 Share September 19, 2002 mudflaps never look nice as nice, IMO, esp if you are opting for the clean look. But if you get mudflaps with performance brands on them, you get 10 more horses...
Magfocus 5th Gear September 19, 2002 Share September 19, 2002 Yeah, especially Lancers with red "ralliart" mudflaps, adds about 20hp
Lillight Neutral Newbie September 19, 2002 Share September 19, 2002 But the question remains - do they really help to keep the car body cleaner?? Esp. with the high/big wheel arches of the focus... if still dirty then what's the use... apart from the added bhp...
Magfocus 5th Gear September 19, 2002 Share September 19, 2002 I think they do..reducing the chance of little pebbles hitting the car behind too
Seansene 1st Gear September 19, 2002 Share September 19, 2002 Lowering, I tell you... then you reduce the wheel arch problem
Lightspeed Clutched September 19, 2002 Author Share September 19, 2002 eh...talking about my lancer with red ralliart ones ar? it adds 30hp ok? not just 20hp... plus don't need to install magnets after that... it acts as a huge magnet to white ants
Magfocus 5th Gear September 19, 2002 Share September 19, 2002 Oh you mean you have red ralliart mudflaps??? oops I mean it adds street cred, dont you think??
Lightspeed Clutched September 19, 2002 Author Share September 19, 2002 actually, dunno if its my imagination or what... the mudflaps help to go thru water better, like if your caught with a few inches of flood, and u decide to "chiong" .... smoother I'd say! and my previous car without mudflaps used to get this mud splashes at the bottom sideskirts area.... now with my added hp mud flaps on my present car...no more mud splashes.... plus it gets tongues wagging too...with just about everyone asking me "why on earth did u put those ugly red things??? damn ugly and beng!" Lightspeed Clutched September 19, 2002 Author Share September 19, 2002 (edited) heh heh...its ok lar... I thought it went pretty well with my altezza and red reflectors.... and anyway, you're not the first nor the last to poke fun at it you can see my car pics at the showroom thread mah...see my added hp and red magnets ...hahahaha Edited September 19, 2002 by Lightspeed ↡ Advertisement
