No car will require to fix a BOV if its not T/C. Even a T/C'ed car still can swap for a bigger turbo. Small snail grows big..... Anyway to T/C any car is no means normal liao. Why would you wanna do that? So that ROV will pull you over always when you "psstt" pass them? By the way, if you still want it, came across a website where they teach you how to DIY yourself using your car horn speaker. Dun ask me how, i also dun understand. lol! Aiya....... just go & do a CAI with open pod and you'll get that awful "psssttt" sound liao whenever you let go the throttle after heavy footing it. Not as loud as a true BOV but quite similar. Dwoon 1st Gear July 14, 2004 Share July 14, 2004 From what I've experienced from friends' cars, doing CAI with stock air filter box gives only a slight pssst sound. However, when the stock box is removed and replaced with a pod (although pod is in the wheel hub & out of the engine comp), the pssst sound is very much louder. The pssst sound occurs when hard throttle is released and is not the sucking sound (CAI) or vroom sound (Pod) when throttle is depressed. Perhaps the characteristic is different for NA cars as the experience I had were on TC cars when exploring what setup I'd prefer should I do CAI. Cheers!
