Super7 Turbocharged September 13, 2002 Share September 13, 2002 Interesting design, your next car may well look something like this C4 Dream Becomes Reality "Meet the new Citroen Xsara - or at least the concept which gives a strong pointer about how the new car will look." "Called the C-Airdream, it will become the C4 when it eventually goes on sale. With its aggressive nose, long overhang at the front and short one at the back, the wedge-shaped car certainly takes the firm back to its wacky design roots. " "Set to premiere at the Paris Motor Show in a fortnight, it's reminiscent of the company's striking SM coup ↡ Advertisement
Renegade Neutral Newbie September 16, 2002 Share September 16, 2002 Not exactly the DS but nice and subtly radical (oxy-moron, I know) - when is it (or will it ever) coming to S'pore ?
Seansene 1st Gear September 16, 2002 Share September 16, 2002 Interesting, and very nice grille/logo integration. I dare say one of the best I've seen

Super7 Turbocharged September 16, 2002 Author Share September 16, 2002 >>>........Not exactly the DS but nice hehe, you mean the DS of the 60s? boy, you are a walking dictionary of cars yeah, the DS, then followed by the CX, then the XM...... Citreon is pretty good at designing large saloons.... and the hydraulic suspension, and headlights that turn with the steering wheel ... still remember the 2CV, or the Dayne/Ami...? they're weird cheers
Renegade Neutral Newbie September 16, 2002 Share September 16, 2002 ...yup, together with the even weirder Mehari soft-roader before the niche was even invented, Citroen really had quirky tuned to a level way beyond most mortal car makers of its day. As for the 2CV, I've got one of those original (as in Made in the UK) Matchbox cars of it - complete with the black top and bright yellow finish. Btw, the DS will always live in my mind as it was first time I ever watched marvels like hydro-pneumatic suspension and headlights that pointed themselves in the direction of the front wheels at work many, many years ago.... ↡ Advertisement
