Crash along Jalan Eunos to Hougang

This afternoon, there was quite a heavy rain along Jalan Eunos headed north to Hougang. My car went thru about 2 inch of water and ahead of me was a white Mercedes Benz with its front wrapped around a tree and part of its buttock on Lane One

 

The driver was still pinned inside and resting against the steering column.

 

Not sure how he ended up there as the road was curving to the right.

 

Wet roads out there today. Drive safely everyone

Driver still concious when I passed the area. Jam like crazy for a short while as 3 lanes became 2 only

Was told to move along... they were already trying to get the driver out... I think 2 other cars involved as I also saw another Merc with its front bumper whacked as well

Not that I could see... just in shock...

2nd Merc was on Lane 3 with slightly damaged front bumper. Possible that he "touched" the other merc and sent it off into a bad spin and maybe the driver then floored accelerator instead of brakes and went straight into the tree

The road is made hazardous now with all the contruction nearer up to Defu lane

Sian ah... why the rain didn't spread to Tampines...it was so hot...

Yah, I was driving to go teach tuition and when I told the kid at Sengkang about the rain, he was asking me, "What rain???"
