Matrix 2003: Any help/suggestion?

Hi fellow members,

 

I intending to sell my Matrix 1.6 GLS Auto 2003 black colour...... one owner, accident free, tip-top condition, low mileage, agent maintained, under warranty too! Got leather seat, fog lamp, etc...........

 

Reason of selling: Oversea posting for 1 year..........Hence, wanted to sell it out fast too.......will be leaving somewhere end of the year.....

 

Price: I'm not sure about the market price.....Any help?? Purchased price is 69k, OMV 14k....depreciation ~6k pa........Using that, its about 61k......Willing to see lower so long its reasonable.......

 

Help: 1. Is it better to scrap it off?

2. IS it better to sell it off direct to customer (considering my time constraints and the hassle of settling the loan with bank?)

3. Is it better to sell it to second hand dealer (lower price with troublefree of the loan settlement but is it RISKY?)

 

Kindly advise..........

Of course it's best to sell duirect to private buyer. You get more, and don't have to take eth dealer's profit into consideration.

 

There's lots of 2nd hand Matrix for sale in the resale mkt.

 

Yuo did not state which month your Matrix was registered in 2003, but assuming it's 12 months old, you should get about S$58K.

I thought even the current 2004 Matrix drinks. About 10km/l for auto & not much better for manual version.

My opinion is that the consumption is about 7-8km per litre when you collected the car.....Slowly and gradually, it can improve to about 9-11km per litre for Auto with some basic mod!

I agreed that the car price is $58k but I dont its a fair market value.....Hence, I decided to lower the price too......As mentioned, I hardly drive the car because just started my new job! If you interested, do let me know........

The latest hyundai matrix have new hyundai engine with CVVT or something. I am not sure whether the latest batch have it. My advice for Matrix wannabe owners to wait for this engine upgrade b4 buying coz it claims of better FC and better performance

After long long consideration, we decided to sell our car at good price........We are planning to sell at $52.5k nett only....

 

FYI, the car is in perfect condition without accident.......

 

I just frusfrated with the price quoted by the car dealer....hence, to make it simple and better, i decided to lower the price! Dont misinterpret that cheap car mean bad car....

just check with a normal SE, the matrix with new Cvvt engine is not due for SG shores soon. At least till next year, so i believe guys who wanna buy a good matrix had to wait.

My 12/03' Matrix's getting 450km (citydriving) for a $50 top up ...

not bad la...that is about 12km/l. pretty good on FC.
