Law_ong Neutral Newbie June 23, 2005 Share June 23, 2005 Quote I used the 'dry-clean' approach... Simply means, I use cloth to wipe my engine bay... same same, but i use damp cloth to wipe clean and brush to brush off dirt at hard to reach and sensitive areas... BMW320i Neutral Newbie June 23, 2005 Share June 23, 2005 I'll use mildly wet paper towels and clean the engine cover ... intakes ... chassis area of both sides etc. This only happens once in a blue moon coz the washing of rims ... entire car .. ridding tar stains as well as vac. polish, interior already cost me 3 hours. Damn shag ... In australia I'll usually heck care.

Tell you a TRUE story from my fren whose father was quite old at the time. His father borrowed a VW Beetle from a fren long long ago (when all cars were front engined). In the morning b4 drive, he do daily engine check task. When he opened the front bonnet, he shouted to my fren that someone stole the engine last night. He was really scared as car was borrowed. My fren could not stop laughing.
