The new Liana 1.6L looks cool and interior is totally different from the Old.

I'm certainly worry about the noise if any. Wonder how reliable is Suzuki engine ?

Thanks Brothers....In fact i did test drive the Liana but not sure how to judge the car..hahaha! But the Boot of the car is certainly spacious as compare to Jazz or MIT Colt. But i understand the resale value is very low for Suzuki car.

Liana 1.6L price at 71.5K. Not sure if it's pricy.

i'm driving the facelifted 1.3M. i've got not much complaint except that it's a bit heavy for a 1.3. drive is good. suspension has been tuned to euro feel. even the signal indicator is on the left. made for euro market so to speak. finishing is much better than the previous model. even s/rims, r/sensor, alarm, body skirting, interior silver cuffings/trims are standards. these are not in the previous model.

if i were looking at 1.6, i'll be looking at some other makes like mazda for instance. however it received raved reviews in local car magz few months back. just go for test drives n follow wat your heart says...

cheers!!

Seriously, the Aerio (US Liana) is very well packaged.

Airbags, ABS and even got a version with AWD. Very affordable package. Cheapest wagon in the US to own.

i m on a 1.3M, no complains after one and a half years. generally liana is a very heavy car, 1.6 tons, which explains the conti feel. the interior is definately nicer with the new face lift. best of all the speedometer is now analog, not electronic like the one i hv. sound proof is not good though. i understand they are giving free skirting fr the hatchback.

minus the AWD, the local version of 1.6 has 2 airbags and ABS fitted. the 1.3 is w/o ABS. imho, the package would be nice with a vvt engine which the JDM has

"Sound proof is not good though", does that means it has Wind noise or engine noise or both ??
