Yeobh 4th Gear May 6, 2004 Share May 6, 2004 If it is a disc brake, try cleaning the pad and disc. The other check is the front bearing. if they have too much free play , replace them.

Johnchong Neutral Newbie May 6, 2004 Author Share May 6, 2004 Hehe, i also using Dunlop LM702 for all four tires... Actually mine drifts left whether braking or not. Low speed not so obvious lah. Think i'll send it for alignment within next few days. Was wondering, each model has different camber and toe settings for the wheels rite, so is it advisable to send the car for alignment at private workshops? Would they know the correct settings? Yeobh 4th Gear May 6, 2004 Share May 6, 2004 It is located in the centre of the brake disc. Jack up your car, place one hand on the tyre outer diameter and the other diagonally opposite - move both hand in opposite direction. If you feel there is too much free movement, then it is time to replace the bearing.

Yeobh 4th Gear May 7, 2004 Share May 7, 2004 Right way to do. Need to have the right feel to know what is not right. Placing hands at 12 and 6 o"clock position and at 3 and 9 will give different feelings.
