Well the IST is definately more expensive than the Getz. It has a better engine than the 3 speed auto mated to the Accent 1.3 liter clanker.

 

If you are able to afford it go for the IST but then only PI bring in, so be careful when you deal with them.

Getz looks fine but it is kinda claustrophobic inside. The C-pillar is obstructing rear view.

Confirm that the Getz is 3 gear auto with OD... Test-drive it before... Not much power when doing slopes.

I think the IST is about 72K to 75K

 

Well PI are not bound to their pricipals (eg Toyota) so you make nose or complain they couldn't care less and there are dirty tricks that they use to lower their price like not giving you 6 months free road tax (actually built into the cost of the car), no IU etc.. and also delaying in the delivery of the car. So when you buy from a PI make you you read the sales agreement carefully before you signed and get a receipt for everything.

 

Best is to get from a more establised one.

 

Heard that IST is like 1ST. Want to know more check out the Toyota Club at Deplhi, there are a whole bunch of IST owners there.

Nope... its 3 speed + OD = 4 speed... But trust me, not much power when the car is full, i.e. 5 adults and doing slope
