Hi all,

I have a very very bad experience with Ace1auto in Kaki Bukit. I am not sure whether anyone had the same experience. I bought an OEM DVD player from them. They have pushed so hard to make me buy the player instead of the branded citing it is as good and less problematic. I realised the radio reception is having a big problem and it is inherent to the design of the player. It is confirmed to be a design of the player that causing the issue since putting on a digital antenna is not solving the problem. They have made me going round and round and test the system for more than 1 weeks citing different ways to trying out the player. Now that they can't solve it, the boss is trying to avoid me and that the sales girl is trying to make me top up whatever amount that a new branded one will cost. Initially, they promised a lot ...in terms of ensuring that i will get a branded one with same features if the testing of the OEM DVD system does not work out. Now, it is getting difficult to contact them... They have forgotten about customer services and the time i have spent to help them define the problem. I have my lost time as well and they are not compensating me but instead wants me to pay more to replace the unit.

I am trying to see how are they going to avoid replacing me and i might go to CASE and the Motoring Association to file this.

Sorry for this complian here.

Not sure any body has the same experience?

Is a universal set...that has huge defect on the radio system. You will not like it as the volume and bass will go up and down..it is very uncomfortable to your listening. They called it a 'Spiderman' model due to the wallpaper picture.

the component abt not watching isn't a problem la. risky, but i had thought that LTA guidelines states that if monitor is in view of driver, then when in motion, got to switch off monitor. if so, then even if i dun appear the monitor, but still is often fined if caught.. if genuinely got to off when in motion, then defeats the purpose, if got to cease and watch, may as well go residence and watch. haha

oic, i believed the monitor is in front, back seat a bit diff to watch, unless they sitting at the centre. baby in kid seat in all probability will have some difficulty seeing the car monitor...

anyway, thanx.
