Huggable Clutched September 11, 2002 Share September 11, 2002 That's a cool 1974 Celica! Btw think it's better that you mask off the number plate.
Super7 Turbocharged September 11, 2002 Author Share September 11, 2002 yeah, abit late now..... numbers exposed btw, i am very innocent/naive one and always wanted to find out: what complication/harm will exposing nos cause? the owner has no plans to rob the bank n use it as his get-away car , there will be no description of the engine here (mod or not-mod), .......... cheers
Huggable Clutched September 11, 2002 Share September 11, 2002 I think it's not to attract undesired attention, be it from TP or parties whom you unknowingly "offended" due to posting in the forum. If you want to use Celica as getaway car, change the license plate first!

Super7 Turbocharged September 11, 2002 Author Share September 11, 2002 one of the good things about owing an old car is that whenever i manage to fix some 'problems' and get the car going right again, the sense of satisfaction is great .... but then again, other problems will pop up later.... it goes round in circle .... the thrills and joys of hunting and finding the rare parts eg signal lens, badges..... are also part of the fun... i almost scrapped mine until suddenly the COE dropped to $50 last year..... heng ah yeah, i aways wanted a Mini.... but by chance i bought my Celica and since that day have been a happy owner cheers
Rx7_lover Neutral Newbie September 11, 2002 Share September 11, 2002 yours can be a classic/vintage car liao right??
Rx7_lover Neutral Newbie September 11, 2002 Share September 11, 2002 (edited) anyways I have a few cars which I would love to keep as vintage cars if I have the space to keep them that is. _________________________________________________________________ actually now that I think of it. It would be nice to put those car at PG. Cos in singapore the vintage cars only can go on the street less than 30 days in a month. Buying a coe for that car is really exp, and the road tax is a killer (10% increase every year after 10 years) There is the opportunity to race the car at pg and if there is any trouble then can service it there. But still it isn't a cheap hobby by any means, but should be cheaper than forking out the coe and 280% increase in road tax (adding 10 % more each year). Rx7_lover Neutral Newbie September 11, 2002 Share September 11, 2002 (edited) hoho.... mostly early 90's car.... that is the era for me.... ^^;; supra (last gen), celica (90-92 model), mr2 (not spyder), RX7 (last gen), gtr (the one that just stopped production), prelude (92- 96 model), interga (the model before the new one), civic (early mid 90s one), SL500 (the previous model), 3 series / M3 (the last squarish one), 8 series bmw. I have a few others but can't really recall them atm. in my mind that is really the era when cars looked so fine. Now they just look like mordern art. Some just look too horrible to drive.
