Apologies for bringing up this very old thread.

How could I get from Singapore to Senai Airport by private transport?

I know some transport companies in Malaysia can do for about $100, but I would like to check if there are any other more cost-effective options.

Thanks.

Around 100$..

Might as well take a cab/uber from JB sentral if you're looking for cost effective options.

Yeah, can take the Singapore/JB taxi for $40, and change to a Malaysian taxi from Larkin terminal.

Thanks.

If you're boarding a flight at senai, check if your airline has land transfer service from Singapore.

Thanks, but it's AirAsia so don't think so.

Brought back memories of Malaysia Airlines' shuttle bus service between Senai Airport and Singapore's Copthorne Orchid Hotel, up till 2007, I think [:)]

Yeah, GrabHitch came to mind but they ran into a hitch (no pun intended) when LTA ruled that cross-border transport services were illegal!

Traveling solo, and minimal luggage; just need to get to Senai airport.

go to bugis johor road taxi stand and ask taxi driver that you want a taxi straight to Senai Airport. They will quote u a price.

Dont need so troublesome. Dont need change taxi in malaysia.

I took it before. I think S$70 per car. About 3yrs back.
