Is there a throttle coolant feed to cars imported to hot climate countries like ours and has anyone done a bypass as this feed is meant for winter weathers only. How's the performace after the simple mod? anyone?

I have heard of this before but i cannot remember the URL for such DIY off-hand. The performance was a slight increase, not too much if i remembered correctly. Basically, the temperature of the air entering the throttle body was reduced after removing the bypass hose.

yup, that's the principle behind this simple mod alright. Tot of asking if anyone really tried it and if there's a noticeable improvement.

I remember the electric connector for the Focus TB, but cannot recall there's 2 hoses there. Gotta take a look at it again later.

The focus tb does not appear to have the 2 hoses with coolant passing through leh, though there's the electric connector. also, it's plastic.

Will flip though haynes to see if there's any info on it.
