Buzz Neutral Newbie February 24, 2004 Share February 24, 2004 (edited) Erh is is call VOLTZ and not Volts Yup about the same price as a 1.8 Rav 4. But interior is so swee compared to the Rav 4 (so dull). Biggest miff i have with the Rav 4 is that the rear tail gate dun swing fully open. It only opens to like 45 degrees. Also the Voltz got a split taill gate Both of them share the same engine Edited February 24, 2004 by Buzz

Konspire Neutral Newbie February 24, 2004 Share February 24, 2004 yeah..but is RAV4 4WD? I sawa few models here RAV4 J, L but i don't think any of them r 4WD...
Armored_Saint Neutral Newbie February 24, 2004 Share February 24, 2004 The RAV's modern look both on the outside and inside a big plus IMO. The 2 door looks even better. While the VVTi engine didn't perform too badly, I found the kerb weight and high CG too little for my liking.
Buzz Neutral Newbie February 24, 2004 Share February 24, 2004 The 1.8 version is not 4WD, to tell them apart look for the different color side strip on the side
Steveaustin Neutral Newbie February 24, 2004 Share February 24, 2004 Quote Get Voltz instead, better interior design and usability Voltz looks more like station wagon leh. not really SUV look. Only PI has Voltz, try Richburg at macpherson.
S2P2 Neutral Newbie February 24, 2004 Share February 24, 2004 1.8 is PI and is 2wd, 2.0 is BM 4wd........no gear to change between 2 or 4, just 4 all the way.....
S2P2 Neutral Newbie February 24, 2004 Share February 24, 2004 from what i understood, J/L means different factory in Japan, anyone can cfm ??
Buzz Neutral Newbie February 24, 2004 Share February 24, 2004 The Rav 4 1.8 from PI cost about 92K and the 2.0 from BM cost about 104K. Nope the Voltz is only available from PI, think you can see it at Tai Huat at Ubi.

Buzz Neutral Newbie February 24, 2004 Share February 24, 2004 True but not as high as Rav 4 for shorter people easier to get in and out. Also better handling around corners
