And so everyone knows what we're talking about, here are some pics...

First, the 7 Series, here's what BMW says about:

The front:"The gaze of the BMW 7 Series sedan is arresting. The horizontal line of the indicators adds emphasis to the concentrated intensity of the double xenon headlamps."

The rear: "The characteristic lines of the BMW 7 Series sedan

Next better player: the 3 Series Compact. What do you do when you want your new small car to stand out from the non-premium riff-raff? Give it a Rover front and Toyota rear, of course!

Officially though: "The round double headlights provide a strong distinctive face whilst the rear is perfectly framed by two striking tail-lights whose clear glass optics cover create a unique appearance. Look closer and you will notice the clever light and shadow effects that characterise the car. Take in the generous shapes of the bonnet, which merge with the muscular front wings and then meet with the swage-line that stretches all the way to the rear."

Uh huh, I believe you, Chris... [rifle]

Agree with you, P - looks like two different ppl who had no idea what each other were doing worked on either ends and then, in a flurry to bring it to the market, just decided to clump both ends together. [:p]

Hey, btw, where exactly are you going ? Attacment, I assume ? Found a babysitter for your Tody yet ?

Then again, if fix a big exhuast under middle of the rear bumper....."BiG ASS Hol*" [laugh][laugh]

Turbocharged

i was staring very hard at the rear end trying to appreciate its 'beauty', after 5 minutes of staring, not only i got 'cxxk eyed', i finally realised the design is like sandwiching the old alfa 164 rear end between two big rear lights, dun you think the horizontal slit of lights look like a shrunk version of the 164's rear lights?

conclusion: the rear is the ultimate confusion in car design [thumbsdown][thumbsdown]

saw a 70s' BMW635 coupe in the sin ming workshop i visited this morning:- real beauty [thumbsup][thumbsup] ...... like they say: they dun do it any more [:/][:/]

Ok.....straight from the horses mouth!!! [laugh]

Had both the 36 and now 46. Personally, liked the 36 as it had a nice shape wat with the squarish ends and all. But th e46 has a more rounded subtle approach that I find pretty 'handsome' if Imay say so... mind you I am referring to the pre-facelift, as the facelift version..... [thumbsdown] Kinda look slike a 'faggot chinese' with the signals looking up. Thus I still prefer the pre-facelift one better

As for the '7' eeeeeeeeeeeek! [thumbsdown][shakehead] , side profile.....nice, but front/back end..Man!!! what happened!!! Which is why I will still go for the E39, rather than the E60, for all it is worth! [bounce1]

Just my 0.02 [nod]
