As ex-owner of Citroen, my advice is NEVER buy a Citroen.

But if you happens to be a Citroen owner, go any French workshop such as BCC for service,

NEVER to C&C, expensive and yet never do a good job.

1. Parts are not just expensive, but also need to wait weeks/months to ship

2. Electronics parts tends to fail

3. Very low standard of after sales service, can't even compete with Hyundai Komoco

4. Battery usually last only for ~1yr, and fail without any warning (my worst experience was failed just after 1 wk of service)

5. Temperature sensor failed in <6 mths and caused fail to start up

6. Petrol leakage at rear seat in <2 yrs.

7. Aircon water leakage in <3 yrs and cost thousands of $$$ to fix

8. Rear generated funny sound and C&C know nothing but apply lubricant, which can't even last until I reach home

9. Front trims always pop-up and C&C can only replace & replace

10. No resale market. Low resale value

11. Every 70K km need to change timing-belt, cost another thousands of $$$

12. Prepare to loss >$50K in 3 yrs, exclude ave maintenance of >$3K/yr

Why are you replicating the same old message in every Citroen thread?

Hi Berlingo owners, I am new in the forum and would like some advise on bro wish888's bad experience with the Berlingo. Are those common issues that every Berlingo owner encounters? Or are they isolated issues? I am considering getting an 03-04 Berlingo after much thought as I'm already 30+.

Hi Optivax, thanks for sharing. I cannot afford the 1.6HDi model :p

They are in the 20k zone. I think with a little loan, I can afford up to 12k for 2yr loan to spread out my expenses...
