What to put in the spare DIN slot?

Hi all,

 

Just changed my Double Din Head Unit to a Single Din Head Unit.... Now there is an empty din slot which I find it an eye sore being empty.

 

Can give suggestions what can be used to put in this DIN slot. The ones I know that can be used are single din size drawer, Boost/Compression guages, soft toys......

I have one but never fix it cos I am quite happy with the current SQ....no point for me adding it leh. Would'nt mind just a stylo spectrum analyzer of some sort but no idea where to find.

 

Besides that, what else do u think I can add.....?

How about a cup holder.

No offense, but I would advise against a cup-holder.. any spillage from the cup might damage the HeadUnit.

 

This aside, I have been looking for a single-din 'Flip-up/Flip-down' free-box, instead of drawer-opening type.. anyone knows where I can get one?

Think Defi got a 1-DIN size gauge set, another brand, T-meter, I think also have similar type of gauge, you may want to try it.

well, the current build-in cup holder in my car is located just on top of the HU, personally, not facing any issue.

Been there (new bukit batok shop) 2 weeks ago.. boh leh. They only have the drawer type, which does not fit Toyota's 1-din space well.
