E36UDM Neutral Newbie February 8, 2004 Author Share February 8, 2004 (edited) 2005 Hyundai Tucson Hyundai introduced its second SUV, and for the second time, it used a Southwest city for the name. Complementing the bigger Santa Fe sport ute, the new Tucson will be offered with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder mated to a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic, and a 2.7-liter V-6 fitted with a four-speed automatic. An available four-wheel-drive system comes with a Borg-Warner electronic interactive torque management system that delivers up to 99 percent of available torque to the front wheels and up to 50 percent to the rears. A dash-mounted 4WD lock button splits torque 50/50. Designed to battle the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4, the Tucson comes to fight with standard four-wheel disc brakes, 16-inch alloy wheels, side curtain airbags, keyless entry, and heated outside mirrors. Also standard are fold-flat rear seats and a foldable front passenger seat that provides more storage or a workspace for the driver. E36UDM Neutral Newbie February 8, 2004 Author Share February 8, 2004 (edited) For the first time in the U.S., BMW will offer a short-wheelbase 7-series sedan with a 12-cylinder engine. The new 760i, like its long-wheelbase 760Li sibling, is powered by a 6.0-liter V-12 that delivers 438 horsepower and 444 pound-feet of torque. BMW says the 760i goes from 0 to 60 in around five seconds. The sole transmission is a six-speed Steptronic automatic. The new Bimmer wears huge double-spoke 20-inch wheels shod with 245/40 tires in front and 275/35 tires in the rear, and has limited top speed of 149 mph. The 760i comes standard with many features either not found or optional on the 745i, such as a self-leveling rear suspension, electronic damping control, a sport steering wheel with Steptronic controls, 20-way power front seats with active support and active ventilation, and a Logic-7 premium stereo with a six-disc CD changer. As expected, all of the 745i Edited February 8, 2004 by E36UDM
