There are ways and means to get it if you want to. 1 simple method - hand carry from US.

Good old $$$ will do the trick [sly] You don't need an "authorised" chop on your head to be a good detailer. There is just no substitution for good technical skills and dedicated well-trained stuff. Wild claims/advertising campaign helps somewhat but in the end customers vote with their wallet. To be perfectly honest, being an authorised detailer/distributor carries with it many limitation and disadvantages as well as privileges. I won't dwell on it too much as it can be too sensitive to some (retailers) besides wandering OT [sweatdrop]

Sorry for the late reply [:p] I got mine at the motorshow last year @ $388.00 with the surcharge of $50 for black/white cars being waived. [;)]

thot groomworks is no longer an authorise dealer for glare? i notice even bukit batok branch is also no longer in their list (from their website). rolleyes.gif

I thought Bukit Batok branch is a new one. Perhaps the info has not been updated yet? You seems to be very familiar with what's going on in Glare Singapore. Are you associated with them in anyway, especially with iCare in AMK?

Very strange for a lady to be around MCF with only PPS interest especially with iCare as the recommended shop. Read quite a few negative comments from her posts on Toughseal, AG5, Klasse... as well as shops such as Groomworks, Ubi Glare etc...

Looks to me she has a vested interested in iCare. Seems to recall there is a lady boss in iCare driving a BMW? If you look at her first post in August 2004, it coincides with the opening of iCare. Or is this just a big coincident? sweatdrop.gif

After the exchange between you, Gen2 and BlackXXXX in the other threads, they might come back with another nick to defend iCare/Glare. Stay tune...

Try to take advantage of the forum and to mislead the forumer is bad enough. Bad mouthing other competitors is even worse. I just want to highlight this to other forumers and let them make their own judgement and decision.

Just a quick qn.

Have you guys ever wondered why there's a surcharge for black & white cars?

I think the reason there's a surcharge is because in black & white cars, small problems like swirls, smudges, light scratches become more obvious than other colored cars. So we need to pay extra to ensure they do a better job? Does that mean that they can do a sub-standard job with other colored cars coz the problems wun be so apparent? Lol... I think my reasoning is very logical.

What do you guys think?

I've frankly nothing against professional PPS. I just am irked when such pro PPS use misleading claims n statements to get pple to use their services. N yes, like one of the bros who said, 'misleading customers is bad enough, bashing competitors is worse!'

Right on bro! [thumbsdown]
