Yansen Neutral Newbie May 9, 2005 Share May 9, 2005 haha no lah i mean the owner of the shop in toh yi, not u.. st115 wears out fast? i just changed to those today at ah siao's partner, lian kit.
Slim Neutral Newbie May 10, 2005 Share May 10, 2005 (edited) Oh...h tat Ah siao...hahaha yes the Ah Siao of toh yi he is funny sometimes, with wierd logic on politics.... st115...well this was my experience the last time. My previous ride was bought from a guy who had just changed only the front set of tyres (abt 8mths b4), with the rear on almost botak ...so i went to our "favourite" ah siao and got the st115 after some recommendations betw tat and kumho (still yet to try this one..but tat is another thread ) anyway, with regular tyre rotation, after 1.5 years later (last month), i noticed that the wear on the st115 was abt the same as the other set (bridgestone, not sure which model though sorry). so tat's just my point abt wear out fast...well maybe should qualify and say wear out faster than bridgestone.... just my opinon Edited May 10, 2005 by Slim

Teddi Neutral Newbie May 10, 2005 Share May 10, 2005 see http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?ti...l=SP+Sport+9000 Value for money, good for Conti cars and heavier Jap/Kor cars.
Darth_mel 1st Gear May 10, 2005 Share May 10, 2005 Sorry, I meant local user reviews. I've keep track of that site for quite a while but the reviews are mixed as road and car conditions are vastly different from us. Judging by this forum, it seems most of us play safe and are not so adventurous with lesser known tyres. I for one is very happy with my Ventus K104 from Hankook. Exceptional performance, amazing price. Bo Weh Gong

Heard alot of people made the same comment before also.... quiet but bad during wet weathers...
Sturtles 6th Gear May 18, 2005 Share May 18, 2005 Its quiet below 60kmh Above that, its noisy like all other tires its dry grip is only average, maybe slightly below cuz i e-braked at 30kmh and abs still kicked in. the road was bone dry. banged a car wet grip is horrendous. almost knocked down a jaywalker in the rain. luckily he stopped. abs kicked in like 20 times, tok tok tok until i passed him and in my mind thanked the smart ass for stopping. ↡ Advertisement
